Description
The Shirt Jacket (AKA The Shacket) is an comfortable oversized shirt jacket. This pattern can be made for men and women. It was inspired by a fleece shirt jacket that my husband lived in for many (many) years. Lately, it was looking a little ragged, so I decided to make him a new one for Christmas. He loved it so much, I made one for my Dad too! It features a button placket, collar with collar stand, long sleeves with a continuous placket and cuff and a vent at the base of the side seam. This vent makes hemming a snap!
You can make The Shirt Jacket (AKA The Shacket) for a man, use the chest measurement to pick a size. For women, use the high bust measurement. The size range is 2XS – 4 XL. See the gallery for measurements and additional photos.
