Carol’s Garden

Welcome to Carol’s Garden! A project inspired by Alice’s Embrace and named after our mother who is battling dementia. Whether it was her plants or people, our mother is the epitome of a caregiver. Therefore, it is in her honor that we hope to bring warmth and comfort to memory care patients in New England.

Here you will find free knitting and crochet patterns for prayer shawls to be made and donated to memory care patients. Each pattern was inspired by a moment in Alice’s life, please take the time to read through some of the stories. I am sure you will be as uplifted and inspired as we were.
