Description
The Floral Embroidered Zippered Bag In the Hoop takes all the work out of making a neat window opening for a zippered closure.
Start by embroidering the floral design on your bag fabric. Then position the lining fabric, right sides together, with the hooped bag fabric. Stitch the window opening through both layers.
Then remove hoop from machine (be careful not to disturb the fabric in the hoop). Cut the window opening and pull the lining to the wrong side of the bag.
Center zipper in window, securing it with Wonder Tape.
Return hoop to the machine, stitch Candlewicking Stitch detail. Unzip the zipper so the pull in visible in the window & finish the design.
The bag is now ready for the final step. Sewing the side and bottom edges of the lining and bag. Leave an opening in the bottom of the lining to turn it to the right side!
