Happy Holidays everyone! The knit Knap Sack is a project that I’ve taught as a “How to Sew Knits” class both in person and on zoom. I decided to offer it to you for free during the holidays this year! The PDF Instructions include tips for sewing with knits, cutting instructions and step-by-step construction. Please feel free to customize the size of your knap sack by making the body and pocket pieces bigger or smaller. I’ve made this bags using upcycled wool and cashmere sweaters and from stable double knits like ponte and french terry. You can also mix and match woven fabrics with knits. The Knit Knap Sack might make the perfect gift for someone on your list!
