Join me on Sunday, May 23 at 11:00 am edt for the LIVE Beach Tote Sew Along. I’ll be working with fabrics from The Confident Stitch. After reviewing the Confident Stitch Swatch Service, I picked out this very cool Ikat Canvas Fabric for the body of the tote. This fabric was one of 8 fabrics featured in the warm tones swatch card. Then Maisie, one of the talented ladies who work at the Confident Stitch, helped me pick out the pretty leaf printed fabric for the band and soft pink cotton for the lining. To make easy work of the straps, I’m using tan webbing.
To give this tote shape, I’m going to be using Bosal In-R-Form Plus Foam Fusible Interfacing. The Free Beach Tote Pattern includes all the supplies and measurements to cut out the pieces so you’ll be ready to sew along with me on Sunday!
